METOC Human Systems Interaction Improvement (MHSII)

Meteorologists, oceanographers, computer scientists, and psychologists study the human-to-computer interaction of Navy METOC forecasting. The research team gathered data during experiments on land-based sites and aboard an aircraft carrier. Researchers studied the workflow of Navy forecasters who created air strike weather briefs. This data is helping expand our understanding of how forecasters collect, analyze, and process information.
